Three-Phase Instantaneous Current Control of Grid-Forming PMSG-WTG
Grid-forming PMSG based wind turbine generators (PMSG-WTGs) have synchronous voltage source characteristics, which can realize the construction and support of grid voltage. However, due to the large range of dynamic response speeds across different parts of the WTG, there is coupling in the control loop that affects both dynamic and transient performance, potentially even leading to instability. This article proposes a grid-forming based three-phase instantaneous current control to improve the dynamic performance of the control system and the efficiency of parameter design. The effectiveness of the proposed control method is verified through simulations.
