Photovoltaic Power Generation System with Improved Three-Phase Grid-Tied T-Type Inverter Based on MPC Control Strategy
This paper selects a 3-Level T-type Inverter, noting the trend toward higher voltage specifications due to high efficiency, and its compatibility with both solar power generation systems and grid systems. Additionally, it proposes a control structure where the voltage, determined using the MPPT (P&O) algorithm to find the maximum power point, undergoes PI control, while MPC control is applied to current regulation. The suggested current control within this proposed control system structure predicts the current value based on the previous step, enabling rapid attainment of the desired value, thereby improving unstable aspects and harmonic distortion in the transient response region. Consequently, the focus is on enhancing the efficiency of electrical energy generation within the grid system.
