Finite element analysis of the heat-solid coupling field of the power coupling mechanism of a two-motor pure electric vehicle
Aiming at the problem that the heat generated by the frictional heat generation of the gears during the meshing of the dual-motor dual-planet row coupling mechanism of the pure electric vehicle may lead to the gluing failure of the tooth surfaces, a combination of mathematical modeling of heat-solid coupling and finite element analysis is proposed. Firstly, a mathematical model of the temperature field of the gear pair is established, and the temperature scatter plot of the single tooth meshing surface of the sun wheel is solved by numerical calculation software. Secondly, the loads obtained from the numerical analysis as well as the boundary conditions were solved by Ansys Workbench finite element analysis software to obtain the thermosolid coupling field of the planetary gear system, and the error with the numerical calculation results was 2%. The thermal stress and deformation of the planetary gear system under the action of temperature field can be obtained by taking the results of the temperature field obtained as the conditions of the structural field. The temperature fields of planetary gears at different rotational speeds are also compared.
