STATE AND PROSPECTS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE NATIONAL MARKET MINERAL FERTILIZERS

Topicality. Ukraine occupies the largest territory and has a significant population in Europe, but in terms of gross domestic product it ranks only 119th. Ukraine owns 28 percent of the world's black soil, which is 40 percent of its territory. By territorial area, Ukraine is the largest in Europe and exceeds other countries by almost 1.8 times. 2.2 million hectares of irrigated land and 3.3 million hectares of arid lands are registered in Ukraine. Over time, the fertility of the soil layer of Ukraine becomes more depleted, which causes a decrease in productivity, and often leads to the death of the crop. It is known that world demand for food products grows every year, as does the population. The organization of the process of their provision begins with the cultivation of agricultural crops and is based on the use of land resources. The latter, in connection with their long-term exploitation, are depleted and need replenishment of lost nutrients. Such replenishment traditionally occurs by adding fertilizers to the ground. The solution to the urgent problem of the development of the fertilizer market determines the search for ways to increase the level of satisfaction of the annually growing needs of agricultural enterprises in providing plants grown thanks to nutrients that contain fertilizers, in particular, mineral ones. Aim and tasks. The purpose of the article is the analysis of the national market of mineral fertilizers, the reasons that restrain the development of the subjects of the market of mineral fertilizers and the determination of prospects for the further development of this market in the post-war period. It is also expected to determine priority measures to support the fertilizer market in Ukraine. Materials and methods. Generalized results of theoretical and methodological approaches to the analysis of the fertilizer market, highlighted in publications of a fundamental and applied nature of research on this market. The legal norms governing legal relations between fertilizer producers and state structures regulating production in this market, the informational and methodical basis of the analysis, are involved. The methods of systematic, structural-logical, and comparative analysis were used to conduct research and solve the tasks. Research results. The study determined the importance of mineral fertilizers in agriculture, analyzed the current state of the mineral fertilizers market and its development prospects to determine factors supporting the development of the national economy. It has been proven that thanks to natural resources, geographical location, and the quality of human resources, Ukraine has opportunities for economic growth, the skillful use of which will contribute to increasing the level of well-being of the population, as one of the main directions of the country's state development strategy. But the current economic state of the country faces global challenges and threats caused by population growth, global climate changes, the rapid development of digitalization of economic relations, regionalization of international production, and war. Conclusion. The scientific novelty of the study consists in determining the basis for regulating the mineral fertilizer market in conditions of risks and internal threats, for recovery in the post-war period. The practical significance of the obtained results is determined by the possibility of using scientific and applied principles of research authorities of different levels and their use of effective mechanisms for regulation of the fertilizer market in conditions of instability and search for ways of its further development.

Abstract
