The Relevance of “Normal Legal Consciousness” Philosophy by I.A. Ilyin
The article is devoted to understanding the concept of normal legal awareness in the philosophy of I.A. Ilyin in the context of historical and modern contradictions in the relationship of the state, society and individual in Russia. The author shows the conceptual and methodological approach of the thinker is based on the legacy of the nationally oriented idealistic philosophy of Germany (primarily the German Enlightenment, G. Hegel, the historical school of law), as well as Russian Slavophilism, where the importance of legal awareness was assessed in the normative complex of morality and law. The conclusion is drawn that the formation and dissemination of normal legal consciousness in Russia, according to I.A. Ilyin, is possible with the systematic activity of a moral state and the response of society based on the mutual imperative acceptance of the values of patriotism and legal law-obligation.
