O USO DO ULTRASSOM MICROFOCADO DE ALTA INTENSIDADE NA ESTIMULAÇÃO DE COLÁGENO E NA PROMOÇÃO DE UM LIFTING FACIAL NÃO CIRÚRGICO: UMA REVISÃO SISTEMÁTICA
High-intensity microfocused ultrasound (UMAI) has emerged as an innovative technique for stimulating collagen production and promoting a non-surgical face lift. This systematic review analyzes clinical and experimental studies on the efficacy and safety of UMAI in facial rejuvenation. The results indicate that UMAI induces neocollagenesis, improves skin firmness and elasticity, and provides a noticeable lifting effect. Furthermore, adverse effects are generally mild and temporary, such as erythema and edema. The technique is especially beneficial for patients looking for less invasive alternatives to traditional surgical procedures. However, the heterogeneity of studies and the lack of standardization in treatment protocols limit the generalization of results. It is concluded that, although promising, the effectiveness of UMAI requires more long-term research to confirm its benefits and establish standardized guidelines.
