Kesan Positif Selepas Perceraian: Analisis Kualitatif Kesedaran Hak Dalam Kalangan Isteri Yang Telah Bercerai/ Positive Impact After Divorce: A Qualitative Analysis Of Rights Awareness Among Divorced Wives

Every married couple strives to preserve their family despite facing various challenges. However, some couples find their efforts futile, leading to the dissolution of their marriage. When divorce occurs, society should not view it solely from a negative perspective. In fact, wives who undergo divorce are entitled to rights that should be rightfully obtained post-divorce. The lack of awareness among divorced wives often results in their passive acceptance without taking further actions. Consequently, the neglect of their positive rights has a profound impact on their lives and the lives of their children. This study aims to analyze the positive impacts of wives after divorce, employing an interpretive method with a case study approach. The qualitative design incorporates document analysis and semi-structured interviews with three divorced wives. After collecting documentary and interview data, content analysis is applied to categorize the findings thematically. The results reveal four positive impacts obtained by wives after divorce: guaranteed child support, the ability to build an independent career, strengthened self-identity and autonomy, and emotionally stable control. It is important to note that the study does not advocate for divorce, but rather highlights the various positive impacts available to wives in case divorce is deemed the best option for a couple. Consequently, further research is needed to enhance the positive awareness of wives regarding their rights after divorce.
