Prospects of Domestic and Foreign Sports Tourism Trends

The purpose of this study is to improve the satisfaction of tourists by analyzing domestic and foreign sports tourism trends. In addition, more tourists participate in sports tourism at home and abroad and feel positive emotions greatly contribute to the development of sports tourism. 14 people participated in the interview of this study, and the results were summarized as follows. Tourists who have experienced domestic sports tourism recognize that they can enjoy various kinds of sports activities as a great advantage. In addition, tourists were found to be greatly satisfied with convenient public transportation systems and parking facilities. On the other hand, it was found that tourists who have experienced overseas sports tourism prefer the fact that they can visit existing tourist attractions while enjoying sports tourism itself. It was mentioned that tourists who have experienced overseas sports tourism are expensive and time-consuming. As such, tourists said that they have advantages and disadvantages in experiencing overseas sports tourism, but in order to develop domestic sports tourism, it is necessary to objectively and comprehensively grasp these factors. Developing domestic sports tourism is important because it has a positive impact on the local economy. Therefore, since many tourists visit areas famous for sports tourism, it contributes greatly to the development of the economy, and it is an opportunity for tourism facilities and services to develop. This study aims to understand domestic and foreign sports tourism trends and situations, and these results play an important role in the development of domestic sports tourism.
