New taxa and distribution records for the centipede (Chilopoda) fauna of Uzbekistan

Following taxa are new to the fauna of Uzbekistan: family Schendylidae, genus Escaryus Cook & Collins, 1891, the species E. retusidens Attems, 1904, and Hessebius perelae Zalesskaja, 1978. The genus Hessebius Verhoeff, 1941 has been recorded for the first time in the Tashkent Region. In both the Namangan and Andijan Regions, the following taxa represent new records for these regions: class Chilopoda, order Geophilomorpha, family Himantariidae, the genus Bothriogaster Sseliwanoff, 1879, and the species B. signata (Kessler, 1874). Furthermore, the order Lithobiomorpha, family Henicopidae, genus Cermatobius Haase, 1885, and the species C. kirgisicus (Zalesskaja, 1972) are new to the fauna of the Namangan Region.
