Discussion on common failure cases of rubber diaphragm

Rubber diaphragms are widely used in petroleum, chemical, electric power, metallurgy and other industries, but faults occur frequently. Therefore, it is important to analyze the failure of rubber diaphragm for judging the nature of failure and finding out the cause of failure, putting forward improvement measures to reduce losses, improving equipment utilization and production efficiency. This study summarized the common failure cases of rubber diaphragm in use, analyzed the cause of failure, and listed typical damage characteristics and failure fracture morphology. Through case studies, the failure analysis methods of rubber diaphragm were discussed, which provided technical support for failure analysis of rubber diaphragm.
