Research on in situ measurement of raceway radius for rolling linear guide
Rolling linear guides have the advantages of low friction coefficient and high positioning accuracy, and are widely used in fields such as machine tools, automated assembly lines, robots, etc. The distance between the same position and three points on the arc of the raceway section from multiple angles is measured by a laser displacement sensor, the center position of the raceway section arc is derived through trigonometric relationships, and its radius value is calculated. The cross-sectional radius at different positions along the axis of the raceway is measured multiple times, and the average of multiple measurements is taken as the raceway radius value. The results show that the raceway radius of rolling linear guides can be quickly and accurately measured with laser displacement sensors by deduction and calculation in a non-contact manner. The raceway radius of rolling linear guides can be rapidly and precisely in-situ measured by laser displacement sensors with appropriate fixtures.
