Eficácia do bloqueio locorregional no pós-operatório de caprinos

The present report aims to highlight the importance of performing a locoregional block associated with sedation for an elective surgical procedure such as an orchiectomy in goats. This consists of demonstrating the protocol and anaesthetic techniques used in three male goats, one year old, weighing an average of 31 kilograms, in which only flunixin was used to control post-surgical pain due to the efficiency of the block, thus providing greater comfort and quality for patients pre-, trans- and post-operation.
