Determinants Of Regional Government Fiscal Stress In Aceh Province

This study investigates the factors contributing to fiscal stress in 23 districts and cities within Aceh Province. It empirically examines the relationship between regional original income, general allocation funds, capital expenditures, economic growth, and fiscal stress. The study analyzed the financial reports of all regency and city governments in Aceh Province from 2019 - 2023.Using panel data regression analysis, the study finds that while economic growth has a negligible impact on fiscal stress, regional income, general allocation funds, and capital expenditure significantly influence it.
