Morning Circle Web Application for Children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder

Special education focuses on individualizing approaches to meet the unique needs of children with disorders such as autism spectrum disorder. These children often struggle with verbal and nonverbal communication, recognizing social cues, and interacting with others. They benefit from clear structure and routine to navigate daily life more effectively. Modern technology, such as apps and visual tools, can help address these challenges. This article deals with the development of an innovative application to support the morning circle activity for children with autism spectrum disorder. The article provides information about developed application, as well as results from interview with teachers using the application. Research suggests that the use of the application has a positive impact on student motivation and reduces the time required for teacher preparation. However, this research was based on interview methods and observations. Our objective is to verify the quality of the application itself using quantitative methods in future studies.
