Analysis of samples printed using additive FFF technology from recycled and non-recycled polymer-based filament

The aim of this study was to compare the quality of printed samples that were printed using additive technology from commercial and recycled PLA (polylactic acid) filament that the authors of this study produced themselves. Furthermore this scientific work deals with the optimization of parameters during the extrusion of filaments based on polymers, which are on a commercial basis, where we also used the process of recycling and re-extrusion. Subsequently, additive printing and non-destructive testing of the samples were started. These tests are intended to determine the future application of the given materials and compare the resulting parameters of recycled and non-recycled filament used in 3D printing of samples. Microscopic analysis with the help of a Metrotome 1500 and microscope from Carl Zeiss brings us detailed results from the composition of materials and possible defects during 3D printing.
