IMMERSIVE TECHNOLOGIES (AR/VR) FOR CROWD TRAINING AND SIMULATION IN EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS SCENARIOS

The term ’emergency’ itself suggests that the conversation about it is not in its predictable form and we know for sure that there is a chance for emergencies to occur. As a consequence of the fact that such a chance exists constantly, AR and VR technologies can be used for providing better and more effective proactive course of emergency scenarios. A first responder training environment that is unparalleled is made available through this state-of-the-art VR simulator, empowering the responders with the relevant skills and aptitude they need when handling mass casualty situations. These technologies are practically applicable in cases that require the creation of a real situation that is dangerous and expensive, and which involve nurses, paramedics, EMTs, police officers, and SAR teams. Further, this research will also detect the likelihood of creating the virtual environments for the purpose of training and simulation. The research paper is aimed at providing such a detailed explanation of the process of individuals gaining practical experience through the immersive technologies, yet avoiding real life-threatening situations.
