Two new cyclopentanoid monoterpenes from the fruits of <i>Catalpa ovate</i>
Two new cyclopentanoid monoterpenes, catalpovatins A-B (<b>1</b>-<b>2</b>), together with nine known compounds (<b>3</b>-<b>11</b>), were isolated from the fruits of <i>Catalpa ovate</i> G. Don. The structures of these compounds were elucidated based on their spectroscopic data. All isolated compounds were evaluated for cytotoxicity against six human tumor cell lines, hepatoprotective activity and anti-inflammatory activity.
