Harvesting chaff for feed when harvesting alfalfa seeds
Improving the country's food security is not possible without increasing the volume of livestock production. Through a comprehensive analysis, theoretical studies show that the legume feed industry is facing a seed shortage problem. In particular, the process of producing alfalfa seeds is complex and metal-intensive, and also requires significant costs for organizing the technological process. The basic principles of reducing seed loss during alfalfa harvesting, the nutritional value of alfalfa chaff, and the composition of a heap of chaff are considered. Key words: ALLFALFA, SEED LOSS, CHOW, GRASS SEEDS, ROUGH FORAGE, NUTRITIONAL VALUE, COMBINE, HEAP, CLEANING
