Research on application of transient electromagnetic method in urban underground pipeline survey
Many pipe-damaging accidents occur frequently because of the lack of basic data in the urban road construction, which is an indispensable life guarantee for the daily function and sustainable development of the city. In this respect, fast and precise detection is realized by a high-resolution transient electromagnetic method and its towed system when it comes to pipelines and their directions in underground space. Taking the survey of underground sewage metal pipelines in Guangming District, Shenzhen as an example, this paper introduces the working principle, data acquisition equipment, and inversion processing method of the transient electromagnetic method. The transient electromagnetic method inversion result is compared and analyzed with the seismic scattering result, and the detection result of the transient electromagnetic method is confirmed in combination with the actual field condition. Above case demonstrates that high-resolution transient electromagnetic system and towed system have remarkable superiority in the indexes of high efficiency and resolution, strong anti-jamming, adaptability to the urban complex working face, especially in urban underground pipeline surveying.
