Implementation and precision analysis of servo control software of satellite communication mobile ground station based on SGP4/SDP4 model
The servo control software of the mobile ground station can realize the telemetry, remote control and digital data transmission of the LEO/GEO satellites by guiding the antenna to point to the real-time position of the satellite. In this paper, a servo control software for satellite communication mobile ground stations based on SGP4/SDP4 model is developed. Driven by the satellite task, the software converts the calculated real-time satellite position into the azimuth and elevation angle of the servo antenna to achieve real-time tracking of the satellite. Combined with the antenna pointing accuracy requirements, the azimuth and elevation angle error analyses of LEO satellites and GEO satellites are carried out respectively by using the software in this paper and the STK tool. The results show that: due to the high dynamic motion characteristics of LEO satellites, when the highest elevation angle is less than 70°, it meets the pointing accuracy requirements, and when it is more than 70°, it needs to cooperate with automatic capture of the servo system to achieve the accuracy requirements; while the high orbit satellites can meet the pointing accuracy requirements at any elevation angle. The measured applications show that the software meets the pointing accuracy requirements of the tracking task and has good real-time and scalability.
