Mortality is more frequent in males. The main cause of mortality in children under 1 year of age is hypoxia and birth asphyxia, followed by conditions of the perinatal period, the infant mortality rate will tend to decrease; The expected value for the year 2023 will be 4.2 per 1000 live births.
