A Comparative Analysis of Financial Support Importance and the Current Support of the Korea Housing and Urban Fund in Neighborhood Regeneration Projects

This study evaluates the importance of financial support for neighborhood regeneration projects and compares it with the Korea Housing and Urban Fund's current allocations to propose improvements. Neighborhood regeneration projects were categorized into six types, analyzing financial support needs and actual funding through surveys, project plan analysis, and expert interviews using Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA). Results reveal mismatches between funding priorities and allocations, with some high-importance projects receiving inadequate support. To enhance financial efficiency, this study suggests restructuring fund distribution, increasing private sector participation, and implementing tailored financial strategies. The findings offer policy insights for sustainable urban regeneration and optimal resource allocation
