Minghan Ye and China–France collaboration in high-energy Physics
Since 1988, Professor Minghan Ye was very active in promoting international cooperation with France in high-energy physics. This was the start of a very productive collaboration with many exchanges of scientists and Ph.D. students. Minghan’s open spirit and wisdom came through every time we met. It was a lasting friendly relationship developed over the years. It was comforting to see Minghan approaching 100 years and still active. His passing was a shock, but he leaves behind the souvenir of a life-long involvement for opening Chinese science internationally.
