Experimental and theoretical study on the mechanism of dust-prevention regulation of composite coatings on the surface of high-voltage insulators
The rapid growth of China's economy and the advancement of industrialization have set higher demands on the power system, making the protection of key components, such as insulators in long-distance transmission systems, increasingly important. This project focuses on the protection of insulator surfaces by utilizing superhydrophobic composite RTV coating modification technology to enhance the anti-pollution capabilities of insulators. Initially, an RTV coating was prepared. Subsequently, a secondary modification was conducted using low surface energy substances and nano-silica particles to create the composite material. When the material was uniformly applied to the insulator surface, it demonstrated excellent dust deposition resistance. The implementation of this project provides significant theoretical guidance for improving the anti-pollution performance of insulator surfaces.
