Research on numerical simulation and optimization algorithm of electromagnetic wave propagation

This research thoroughly examines the integration of optimization algorithms with numerical simulation of electromagnetic wave propagation. First, the theoretical basis of electromagnetic wave propagation is introduced. Some electromagnetic wave propagation analysis, basic concepts of electromagnetic fields, numerical simulations such as the finite difference time domain method, and finite element method based on Maxwell's equations are then discussed. Scenario Simulation Applications. Later, the research focuses on adopting the optimization algorithms including GA and PSO to promote electromagnetic wave propagation problems and design electromagnetic systems, and studying related tasks of the combination of optimization algorithms and numerical simulation. This is not some partial truth; it has been proven to be true, through practical examples especially on the improvement of antenna design, since through it, optimization algorithms are quite crucial in order to improve the gain of antennas, their directivity, and ultimately the overall effectiveness of them. The effectiveness of various algorithms is further showcased through performance evaluations. The research in this article provides theoretical basis and application guidance for numerical simulation and optimization technology in electromagnetic wave propagation problems, and has important academic value and engineering significance.
