Editor's Note for article entitled “The flavonoid Sudachitin regulates glucose metabolism via PDE inhibition”

An investigation conducted on behalf of the journal by Elsevier's Research Integrity & Publishing Ethics team has determined that one of the reviewers inappropriately requested the authors to include citations of their own work during the peer-review process. This citation issue does not affect the scientific validity of the research findings presented in this paper.
