As a result of the results of the univariate analysis, it is possible to draw the conclusion that 94.6% of patients rated the therapeutic communication provided by the nurse as good, and that 85.7% of patients were very happy with the service. According to the findings of a bivariate study that used the Spearman rho test, there is a positive correlation between nurse therapeutic communication and patient satisfaction that is either very high or quite strong. 0.000 is the value of the p-value, and 0.480 is the value of the correlation coefficient. When it comes to delivering inpatient care, it is of utmost importance for nurses to maintain and even improve their therapeutic connection with their patients.

Abstract

In the event that they need medical assistance, members of the community often depend on hospitals. The level of success that nurses have in providing nursing care is one of the factors that play a role in determining whether or not patients recover and are content with their condition. Nurses who are good in therapeutic communication have the potential to improve the reputations of both the hospital and the profession, which ultimately helps patients. This is in addition to the fact that they are able to create trustworthy connections with patients and their families. The objective of this study is to investigate the Sandat inpatient room at Bali Mandara Regional General Hospital in order to determine the extent to which the therapeutic communication of nurses and the degree of care that they give are related to the level of patient satisfaction.
