Strategies for leveling manipulative influence arising in the communication process within the framework of an interview (based on the K. A. Sobchak interview)

The aim of the research is to identify the communicative strategies used by the interviewee to evade manipulative influence exerted upon them by the interviewer. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the fact that the work examines, for the first time, the communicative reactions of the addressee to the manipulative influence exerted upon them. The article investigates the communicative features of the interview genre, analyzes contemporary interview discourse, and the influence of internet technologies on the presentation of information to the modern viewer. The interview as a speech genre is analyzed through the presence of manipulativeness arising in the "interviewer – interviewee" communication process, which is one of the main driving tools for the realization of the interview. The main focus is on the interviewee's communicative reaction to the communicative influence directed at them. The research material consists of speech-visual fragments of an interview with a well-known contemporary blogger, taken from the internet. As a result, it has been proven that in the communication process, the interviewer uses various manipulative techniques aimed at discrediting the opponent, and the interviewee may resort to an aggressive strategy of evading manipulative influence, within which they implement tactics such as counter-manipulation and manipulation recognition.
