Design and Implementation of a Dynamic Display System for Northern Minority Women's Robes Based on UE Improvement

This article addresses the problems in building virtual clothing display systems using existing technologies, such as a single interactive method and no physical impact on fabrics. Based on advanced virtual reality technology such as Unreal Engine (UE), an interactive dynamic clothing display system was developed using the traditional Chinese women's robe cultural relics in the Ethnic Costume Museum of Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology. On the premise of realizing the display of clothing based on digital humans, functions such as scene roaming, free dressing, and runway shows have been developed. This not only allows visitors to intuitively and vividly understand and experience the style, structure, and details of clothing in the display system, but also enables real-time dynamic interaction between characters and scenes, improving visitors' participation and satisfaction, enhancing their interest and understanding of cultural heritage, and having positive social benefits for the inheritance and protection of clothing culture.
