Abstract: In examining Korean-American poet and translator Don Mee Choi's KOR-US Trilogy, this essay looks to Hardly War, DMZ Colony, Mirror Nation to grapple with what I term a fractured poetics throughout Choi's collections, which is a poetics that refashions how we come to understand the histories and legacies of occupation, division, neocolonialism, and resistance in the context of South Korean-U.S. geopolitical relations.
