Belleza y existencia: una lectura de “La verdad como inspiración” de Leonardo Polo
This paper delves into the concepts of Art, Beauty, and Existence within Leonardo Polo’s “Truth as Inspiration”. Taking Polo’s idea that “truth is more than the idea”, it critiques existentialism and a certain type of idealism from Polo’s stance using the concepts of existence, truth, and freedom. Polo understands inspiration as one of the manifestations of what is understood by truth, encounter, and person. It is the person and the personal encounter that are truly inspiring, simultaneously showing, as an effect, a possible notion of beauty.
