IoT-Based Monitoring System Design for Dragon Fruit In-Truck Cool Storage
This research presents an IoT module to monitor dragon fruit storage conditions during transportation. The module continuously gathers data on key environmental factors-temperature, humidity, and CO2 concentration-using integrated STC31 and SHT85 sensors that ensure accurate readings across diverse environmental conditions. It supports wireless communication protocols, enabling data transmission to a central system or cloud for real-time monitoring and analysis. Furthermore, the IoT module can communicate with an onboard computer, enabling the collected data to be utilized in AI models for anomaly detection, shelf-life prediction, and environmental parameter control. This IoT-based solution aims to optimize storage efficiency and fruit quality during transportation, offering functionalities such as anomaly detection and environmental control. Experimental results confirmed the effectiveness of the developed module, showcasing its potential to enhance the quality and longevity of transported dragon fruit under Vietnam's weather and transport conditions.
