Comparison of Balance Confidence in Older Adults With and Without Long-Haul COVID-19
Older adults with long-haul COVID-19 have decreased balance confidence and increased concern of falling compared with non-long-haulers and healthy controls, which may indicate a greater fall risk. Significance/Implications: Older adults with long COVID-19 may have a heightened need for resources and healthcare services related to fall prevention. Consideration of long COVID-19 status may be an important factor in improving older adult's outcomes.
