Research on High-Accuracy Indoor Personnel Positioning Technology in the Complex Environment of Nuclear Power Plant Turbine Building
This paper investigates various positioning technologies suitable for the indoor personnel positioning in the nuclear power plants. The investigation reveals that Bluetooth technology boasts good economy and accessibility, but its positioning accuracy is difficult to stably achieve the sub-meter level in the complex environment of turbine plant (MX plant). Therefore, an indoor personnel positioning system based on the fusion of Pedestrian Dead Reckoning (PDR), Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), and deep learning fingerprint positioning algorithms was developed and tested. The test results indicated that the designed system well fits the need of high-accuracy personnel positioning in the turbine plant area of nuclear power plants.
