La cosa misma, Husserl y Polo
The definition of truth as “the adequation between thing and intellect” requires explaining how this adequation is known. Analyzing the proposals of Husserl and Polo, both agree that the intellect must have direct access to reality. However, Husserl is criticized for considering the logical form as part of what counts as the real thing, while Polo is criticized for the need to give precise content to the concept of struggle. In conclusion, although both philosophers share the idea of the intellect’s direct access to reality, they face different objections in their approaches.
