Evaluating the Khorana Score in Advanced EGFRMutated NSCLC Patients Receiving First-Line Osimertinib
Venous thromboembolism (VTE) poses a significant risk in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), particularly those with driver mutations, such as in the Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR). While the Khorana Score is commonly used to predict VTE risk in general oncology patients, its relevance in genetically defined subgroups, such as EGFR-mutated NSCLC patients, remains unclear.
