NUMERICAL SOLUTION OF FRACTIONAL KLEIN-GORDON EQUATION USING CHEBYSHEV SPECTRAL COLLOCATION METHOD

This work investigated the spectral collocation technique for solving the fractional Klein-Gordon Equation (FKGE) (Caputo Derivative Sense) with the assistance ofChebyshev polynomials of the first order. The essential feature is to turn the provided issue into a system of algebraic equations that can be solved easily using any of the normal techniques. To prove the accuracy and efficiency of the technique, a benchmark issue is performed with various values of alpha at different time t and the results obtained were compared with those produced from the Variational Iteration method (VIM) available in the literature. The results of numerical testing demonstrate that the spectral collocation approach is superior to the Variational iteration method and is very accurate. All computational frameworks of this study were built with the assistance of MAPLE 18.
