Gullar, precário filosofar

Ferreira Gullar published for decades texts about art and politics in Brazilian press. The aim of this article is to show how football appears in the columns published by the author in Folha de S. Paulo during the 2000s; and how guidelines presents in sports coverage since the mid-twentieth century are resumed, sometimes in debates about news, sometimes specifically about the modality. With this starting point, an understanding of the relationship with events in Brasilia and the conceptualization of sport is less intangible.
