Real-World Evaluation of Compressed Sensing for Data Compression in Smart Grids
The smart grid integrates digital technologies for efficient power delivery and real-time monitoring, but managing its large data volumes remains challenging. This study investigates Compressed Sensing (CS) as a solution for data compression in smart grids. Using real-world data, we demonstrate that CS significantly reduces data volume while preserving signal accuracy, offering a practical approach to efficient, real-time data management.
