THE LIVED EXPERIENCE OF HR PRACTITIONERS IMPLEMENTING PRIME-HRM STANDARDS

In this study, the lived experiences of HR officers in applying the PRIME-HRM standards are being examined, which is meant to strengthen HR systems in government agencies that are hindered by compliance, reporting, and employee adaptation challenges. The study aims to inform on the salient challenges, lessons learned, and best practices of HR officers engaged in the implementing process. A qualitative phenomenological approach was conducted, employing semi structured interviews with selected HR officers of various governmental bodies. The focus group has yet again established similar incidents that include scarcity of resources, problems of policy interpretation, and delays of change by employees. Still, they were able to show a few approaches directed toward solving such challenges, such as programs for building capacities and collaborative initiatives given by the Civil Service Commission. The study underscores the need for continuous training, organizational commitment, and adaptive strategies to enhance the effectiveness of PRIME-HRM implementation. These insights contribute to improving HR practices in public sector organizations.

A qualitative phenomenological approach was conducted, employing semi structured interviews with selected HR officers of various governmental bodies. The focus group has yet again established similar incidents that include scarcity of resources, problems of policy interpretation, and delays of change by employees.
