WIRED IN App: A Campus Based Health Tracking System through API Architecture

Mobile applications provide users easy and instant access to information, services, and functionalities. As smartphones have become an integral part of everyone's daily lives, having a mobile app ensures that services are readily available anytime, anywhere. In this study, the researchers aim to develop a health declaration application with an announcement system specifically for students in higher education institutions. The application streamlines the process of health declaration and provides timely announcements to students, faculty, and staff. Also, API architecture can be used to integrate with external systems, such as health databases or contact tracing platforms, to ensure accurate and up-to-date information. The researchers conduct usability tests and surveys to gather feedback from respondents to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of the application. According to the findings, the WIRED IN Application obtained a "High Satisfaction" rating from the respondents for its usability, adaptability, credibility, and ease of use, accommodating a wide range of user needs. For the researcher's recommendation, emphasize the value of user involvement, security, inclusivity, and data-driven decision-making in the ongoing development of the WIRED IN App. By adopting these strategies, the app will continue to be a dependable, user-friendly, and essential resource for the university community, promoting effective communication, health management, and academic performance.
