PSICODIAGNÓSTICO DE TDAH, DISTIMIA E TAG EM PACIENTE ADULTO: Um relato de caso

Due to the complexity and difficulty in conducting the psychodiagnosis, this article presents the psychodiagnostic process of a patient with suspected Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Persistent Depressive Disorder (Dysthymia), and Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD). It explains these disorders, correlates diagnoses, clarifies their impacts, and discusses symptoms affecting the patient's life. The objective of this article is to propose and discuss the investigative procedure for psychodiagnosing ADHD, Dysthymia, and GAD, presenting the conducted psychodiagnostic process and providing understanding of the tools, scales, and tests utilized therein. Regarding the methodology, it is noteworthy that this is a descriptive study, presented in the form of a scientific article, with a qualitative approach to the entire process. The psychodiagnostic procedure was conducted in 2023 at a private university clinic in João Pessoa. The participant, an adult female, received assessment and diagnosis facilitated by a psychology intern. Throughout the psychodiagnostic process, the following tests and scales were used: Factorial Personality Battery (PFB), Attentional concentration test (ACT), Test of Divided Attention (TEADI), Test of Alternating Attention (TEALT), Rey Auditory-Verbal Learning Test (RAVLT), Pictorial Memory Test-2 (TEPIC-M-2), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Scale (ADHD), Adult Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder Screening Inventory (IR-ADHD), Functional Impairment Scale (EPF-TDAH), Beck Depression Inventory-II (BDI-II), Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAM-A). The clinical observations and the results of tests and scales were consistent with the initial diagnostic hypotheses, suggesting the presence of comorbidity between the conditions. The complexity and comprehensive evaluation of the case serve as a guideline for similar cases, aiding in the procedure.
