Surgical anatomy of aging face
In recent decades, the number of aesthetic facial surgeries for age-related changes significantly increased. Thus, research of morphological tissue changes seems relevant and significant for surgeons. Analysis of surgical strategy is important in aesthetic facial surgery. Therefore, analysis of aging face anatomy can be decisive for postoperative outcomes. In this study, we analyzed age-related changes in various facial structures involved in clinical manifestation of aesthetic pathology. These data will certainly increase the effectiveness of plastic surgery. The PubMed, Google Scholar and electronic resources of the Federal Economic and Monographic Library databases were reviewed.
