Approximate Solution of Initial Boundary Value Problem of One-Dimensional Heat Conduction for the Thermal Shock of Thin Plate
The article represents a new approximate analytical solution of the initial boundary value problem of one-dimensional heat conduction with boundary conditions of the third kind. It describes the temperature field of a homogeneous thin plate under thermal shock more accurately than previous solutions. The obtained solution was determined by the ANSYS mathematical package. The results of the analysis can be used to construct control laws for a small spacecraft taking into account the thermal shock of its solar panels.
