Optimization configuration of "gravity-compressed air" hybrid energy storage capacity considering multiple application values
To fulfill the demands of peak shaving, valley filling, and wave smoothing in the power grid, a strategy for optimizing the configuration of "gravity-compressed air" hybrid energy storage capacity is provided, taking into account different application values. Firstly, establish the HESS model, define the operating principles of gravity and compressed air energy storage, and design the HESS charging and discharging model. Additionally, a "gravity-compressed air" hybrid energy storage capacity optimization configuration model is constructed based on two application scenarios consisting of peak shaving and valley filling, along with wave stabilization, with the aim of optimizing system operation economy while accounting for system power balance constraints and energy storage constraints. Finally, a HESS energy storage capacity configuration strategy that balances peak shaving, valley filling, and wave stabilization was obtained by solving the model using the particle swarm technique. A To evaluate the system economy of solitary and hybrid energy storage, a comparison method was created. The results showed some technological and financial practical value for the suggested "gravity-compressed air" hybrid energy storage capacity optimization configuration approach.
