A Data-Driven Based Dynamic Pricing Model of Electric Vehicle to Grid with Renewable Energies
Electric vehicles (EVs) possess both the attributes of mobile energy storage load and power source. The challenge of how to involve them in the power grid to enable efficient consumption of renewable energy, and consequently achieve power supply and demand balance is a highly technical issue. This paper initially proposes a data-driven optimization method to dynamically adjust the electricity prices of public EV charging stations. In turn, the electricity prices indirectly help to reduce the peak load and fill the valley load. Eventually, the proposed method can improve the local consumption of renewable energy such as photovoltaic.
