An Improvement of A Mobile RFID Authentication Protocol Based on Self-assembling Cross-bit Algorithm

Recently, Xu et al. proposed an ultra-lightweight mobile wireless two-way authentication protocol MAP-SKBO based on shared private keys and bit operations. This MAPSKBO is based on a bit operation scheme, using ultra-lightweight bit replacement and self-combination cross-bit operation to encrypt the transmitted information, and uses random numbers to maintain the freshness of the transmitted information and shared information private key. Xu et al. claimed that during the MAP-SKBO communication process, tags, readers, and databases can authenticate each other to resist attack destruction. However, this article will prove that their method has the disadvantage of leaking shared private keys, forging Tags, and Reader’s IDs.
