Research on Capacity Configuration of Grid Forming Energy Storage(GFES) in Off Grid High Proportion new Energy System
This article proposes a method for GFES capacity configuration based on steady-state balance and transient verification in off grid high proportion new energy system. The method considers various factors such as load, site, weather, and economy, and establishes an optimization model for the capacity configuration of GFES with the objective function of minimizing the levelized cost of energy(LCOE) throughout the entire lifecycle of the system. A multi-constraint 8760h production simulation based on steady-state balance is carried out to obtain the capacity configuration scheme of GFES. Then, the transient simulation model of the system is built, and the capacity configuration is verified from multiple renewable energy station short-circuit ratio(MRSCR) and the stability of the system. The configuration scheme that passes the stability check and has low power cost is selected as the optimal scheme. Finally, an example is given to verify the feasibility of the proposed method.
