Research on Distribution Automation Terminal μPMU Optimal Configuration and Application Based on Grid-Connected Monitoring in Active Distribution Networks
To improve state estimation accuracy in active distribution networks, this paper proposes an optimized configuration method for distribution automation terminal micro-synchrophasor measurement units (μPMUs) utilizing grid- connected monitoring data. Key features of data terminal units, distributed energy sources, electric vehicle monitoring points, and μPMUs are analyzed to develop a model aimed at minimizing estimation error with constraints on μPMU count and allowable error. A particle swarm optimization algorithm is used, and results show that incorporating grid-connected data improves estimation accuracy and reduces μPMU requirements.
