Substation Reactive Power Optimization Considering Capacitor Operation Regulation Cost
The rapid development of the new power system has resulted in the emergence of "double high" characteristics in the power grid, imposing higher demands on the voltage regulation capability of substations. Compared to conventional equal capacitance group capacitors, the unequal capacitance group configuration method has better reactive power regulation ability, but there is a problem that the compensation equipment is frequently switched during operation, resulting in easy damage. In view of the above problems, the cost of capacitor operation adjustment is considered in reactive power planning. The switching operation process of the capacitor on the typical daily load curve in four quarters was simulated to obtain the system active power loss, capacitor operation times, and system node voltage qualification rate, the optimal reactive power configuration model of substation is established considering capacitor operation regulation cost. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by comparing with the existing equal volume grouping method and unequal volume grouping method.
